La Trobe University Sports Park's expansion has brought forth a new pinnacle of aquatic excellence, unveiled as The Home of the Matildas. This remarkable facility stands as a testament to the fusion of teaching, research, community engagement, and elite sports, setting a new standard in sports precincts.

Crafted by Aloha Pools under FMG's aquatic engineering design, The Home of the Matildas boasts an elite-level recovery and wet area featuring three distinct bodies of water: hot and cold plunge pools, and an Endless River recovery pool equipped with swimming jets. Aloha Pools' meticulous attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the build, from the concrete pool shells and hydraulics to the finishes, stainless steel work, and lighting. The bespoke nature of the concrete pool shells ensures a perfect alignment with the client's unique vision, showcasing the paramount advantage of complete customisation.

The Endless River recovery pool stands out for its exceptional aptness for resistance training. Dynamic, high-velocity end jets create a robust river current, facilitating rigorous training regimens for athletes. Maintained at a comfortable 28 degrees Celsius, the River Pool provides an optimal training environment, complemented by the pool spa offering a soothing retreat at 34 degrees Celsius. For those seeking a refreshing plunge, the invigorating cold pool awaits at a brisk 10 degrees Celsius, completing the spectrum of aquatic experiences.

The Home of The Matildas signifies the largest-ever government investment in an Australia-specific football project, marking a significant milestone in the country's sports landscape. Aloha Pools takes immense pride in contributing to the realisation of this groundbreaking facility, showcasing a dedication to excellence and innovation in every aspect of aquatic design.
